Richard Lee

Richard Lee

Director of Church Mobilization

Richard Lee is a sought-after speaker on issues of justice and the Church, speaking at churches across the nation for the last 20 years. His passion for speaking has taken him to be on the TEDx stage, where he presented "Slavery Still Exists. Here's How to End It.” Additionally, he was a guest on the unSeminary podcast and the Let's Give a Damn podcast. He also has been published on churchleaders.com.

In his role as director of church mobilization for International Justice Mission, he works with pastors and churches to deepen engagement with the biblical call of justice and the work of IJM. Through preaching on Sundays and forming partnerships with churches, he aims to keep the issue of justice as a part of discipleship in the Church.

Before joining IJM, Richard served as a pastor at Liquid Church at their campus in Mountainside, New Jersey and as lead pastor at Bethany Well Church in Fort Lee, New Jersey. He also started and led two networks for local pastors, providing accountability and encouragement for them. In addition, he currently serves as an advisory board member for One Days Wages, a global poverty organization.

Richard received his degree in Mathematics from Columbia College (NYC) and his master’s of divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He resides in New Jersey with his wife Theresa and their two children.
