Amanda Robinson

Program Manager of Church Mobilization

Amanda Robinson serves as IJM’s program manager of church mobilization. This role affords her the opportunity to equip churches across the U.S. by sharing the biblical call to seek justice, introducing them to IJM’s work and mobilizing them to engage in both local and global ministry.

Amanda joined IJM in 2016 as a government and community relations fellow in their Gulu, Uganda Field Office. She facilitated partnerships with INGOs across Uganda to increase awareness of IJM’s work in reducing instances of property grabbing in affected communities. Her time in Uganda laid the foundation for our strongest relationships working to combat violence against women and children.

Prior to joining IJM, Amanda spent 10 years in the retail industry as a buyer. It was during this time that she learned about the complexities of sourcing merchandise that has not been produced using slavery. This work led to her working with domestic and international organizations that focus on empowering people who have recently left or been removed from the commercial sex industry.

Amanda received a master’s degree in Global Business from the University of North Texas. When she’s not traveling to visit IJM church partners, she lives in Washington, D.C. with her dog.
